Keep the selected offer stable
The selected reference is one400ml Faith Fragrance Free shampoo at£8.49 one-time. The maker also lists a5L option at£64.49. A size selector changing the displayed price is not evidence that the smaller bottle now contains five litres. Record the exact chosen size before comparing a basket.
Compare only the declared volume
Five litres is5000ml,so the displayed5L price would represent£1.2898 per100ml before any actual additional charges. The400ml one-time quote represents£2.1225 per100ml. This is a volume-price comparison, not evidence of identical dispensers, received labels, storage suitability or a recommended amount to keep.
A concrete purchasing trade-off
Someone with a known requirement for one400ml bottle may prefer the smaller cash commitment even when a larger pack has a lower volume rate. A buyer already needing a large container must check the actual variant, closure, delivery and current formula. No invented number of washes or expiry-from-purchase period is used to justify the larger size.
Before adding the larger size
Open the actual5L selection and verify its label and checkout independently. The local tools deliberately retain only the selected400ml reference,so they cannot silently swap in a larger container or promise that a household will finish it before its applicable period-after-opening limit.
A concrete decision record
The5L ticket implies a larger upfront spend than the selected400ml bottle:£64.49 versus£8.49 before charges. That cash difference is real purchase arithmetic even when the large container’s volume rate is lower. Check the exact container and required stock target before deciding that a lower denominator is the more useful order.
